day of the dead dance

Dear hearts, the Day of the Dead is coming up next Sunday evening. With a great new location, live musicians, the creative energies of the Cauldron, and the blessing of the ancestors, it's coming through even more fabulous than last year.

Here's how you can help:

* Invite your friends. People of all ages, genders, and traditions are welcome -- they don't have to be Faeries or pagans. The Call is below -- feel free to forward it or post it online.

* We are looking to borrow the following:

Rugs or large carpet pieces
Folding tables and chairs (especially in quantity)
Tablecloths
Floor lamps
Long extension cords
Power strips

We promise to treat them with care and return them promptly and in good condition. If you have any of these or know where we can borrow them, please drop us a line at info@queermagic.org.

* We need helpers!

Picking up and returning borrowed items (flexible)
Space clearing/setup (Saturday afternoon)
Decorating (Sunday early afternoon)
Final fluffing (Sunday late afternoon)
Door/hostess 5-7 p.
Feast: 4:30-7 p.
Cleanup: Sunday after the event and Monday << help especially needed!

If you can lend a hand for an hour or two, drop us a line at info@queermagic.org.

A bunch of us will be out of town this week at Samhain in Wolf Creek, so there may be a lag in phone and e-mail response. We'll get back to you just as soon as we return.
