This summer Queeruption is taking place in the area around Vancouver Canada, in Coast Salish First Nations territory. Queeruption is a radical, DIY, anti-commercial, non-hierarchal gathering that usually occurs every year in a different city around the world. Queeruption is an event where radical queers of all genders and sexualities can gather together and share ideas and desires, plan actions and take inspiration from all the amazing people around us. Queeruption Vancouver will not take place inside the city. Instead, it will occur in nature outside of the city. We hope by doing this we will be able to bring environmental and ecological issues to the forefront of this gathering.

Queeruption works on the principle that everyone who comes to the gathering contributes to make it happen. So if you have ideas on workshops, discussions, skill sharing, etc, please email us! If you have ideas and/or experiences with queer eco-villages, sustainability issues, environmental activism, animal rights, aboriginal issues, bioregionalism, green anarchism, local plants and animal species, astronomy etc. etc. we would really love to hear from you, and we'd love it if you'd like to organize a workshop!
