Hi, I'm Bradley. I live just south in Seattle in the formerly small town of Kent. I play rugby with a primarily gay team, the Seattle Quake. I love nature and I am also a person of simple needs really. I feel strongly about living here because of my family, the beauty and the fact that I was born here and all my molecules are from here. ;-)

I am new to Radical Fairies, so any direction or information would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. USA out of the Pacific Northwest!!

    Hi Bradley,

You'll find this tribe to be fairly quiet, as most Northwest faerie info gets passed around in person, at weekend faerie coffee events in Portland and Seattle, and on the feydirt(at)rdrop(dot)com and nwradfeys(at)yahoogroups(dot)com email lists. If you'd like to subscribe to feydirt (mostly Portland stuff), send me your email address in a private message, and I'll get you subscribed. To subscribe to nwradfeys (mostly Seattle stuff, and less chatty), you can find it at yahoogroups.

    Hope this helps,

    Damien

        I'm a RadFae from the southern U.S.

I have some PDFs and DOCs on the Rad-Fae movement, if you'd like..

Yeah, the faeries used to be busier on Tribe.net, but Tribe.net itself killed off a lot of its audience a year to two years ago with some really short-sighted choices which they've since greatly regretted (after losing well over half their audience). And, the whole faerie experience is much better in person, anyhow.

Heyla Bradley... welcome. In my experience as a Faerie, most of us are pretty quiet, well, until Beltane anyway. :) But I must agree that the Faerie experience is most enchanting as live action, so to speak. My advice... take your time and get to know the Fae around you, make sojourns to as many gatherings as possible. The beauty of being Fae is that it is as festive or vestigial as you may desire. It's all about enjoying being who are... whether that's lounging in a hammock watching the gloriousness of those around you, or bedazzling yourself in vivid accoutrement and/or ravishing cosmetica to dance around the blazing Beltane pyre!

As a person who spent much of my life feeling like an outsider, I've never felt as embraced by and connected with other people than when I went to my first gathering. (A kajillion thanks to my beloved Faes: Aeolus & Elwood, Ginger, Mama, Beetlebug & Doodlebug, Meadow, my hubby Tapestry, and so many others). It was less than a week, and yet I adore all of them, and miss them like I've known them all my life.

I only share this to exemplify how brilliant frolicking with Faeries can be... to give a sense of how fantastic the Radical Faeries can be. I hope you have a the time of your life learning and loving in the amazing congregation of Fae Spirits!

    Hi Bradley,
You've chosen a truly wonderful clan to hang out with. I was introduced to the faeries by some kind of our own about 4 years ago. I have found the experience to be rewarding and validating. I'm now valid...lol! I'm also working on forming community in Silverton, WA. We're in the discussion stage right now but the house is already owned by your truly. Anyway, welcome I think you'll find the faerie experience quite fulfilling.

    Cheers,
    Terry aka Silverton Faerie
    or Cascade Community
(I might see about changing the name later to avoid confusion between Cascade & Cascadia)
